MTV Europe Music Awards Lisboa 2005
Coldplay and US band Green Day have won two prizes each at the MTV Europe awards, in a good evening for UK acts. Robbie Williams, Gorillaz, and James Blunt also won prizes at the ceremony in Lisbon, last Thursday 3rd Nov 2005.
Live 8 organiser Bob Geldof was presented the Free Your Mind humanitarian award by Live 8 concert performer Madonna.
The ceremony was hosted by Ali G creator Sacha Baron Cohen, playing his Kazakhstani alter ego Borat Sagdiyev. See all MTV Musiv Awards here.
