Street Chess



Chess and Checker table set up on Michigan Avenue, New York. If they’re playing for food money, it’s no joke, and it's almost sure you are going to loose.

As a curiosity, also Humphrey Bogart, in 1929, after the stock market crash, he hustled chess players for quarters of dolar in New York City parks and for dimes against all comers at Coney Island.
