Places - New York

New York (forever my favorite city) - A view from Empire State Building at late afternoon, returning home from a Columbus-III meeting in Richardson, Texas. (May 2004).
New York - The same view from Empire State Building at late afternoon, without zoom.

New York - Chrysler Building, 405 Lexington Avenue between 42nd and 43rd streets, viewed from the top of Empire State Building (May 2004). This Art Deco skyscraper was concluded in 1930 and the height to the top of its spire is 1048 feet.

New York - World Trade Center new Subway Station close to Ground Zero, concluded in less than one year after September 11 attacks. (May 2004). More information about this reconstruction here.

New York (forever my favorite city) - Rainning in Times Square at night with 26ºC. (May 2004). The driver (and the passengers) left the tricycle in the street to hide from the rain.

New York (forever my favorite city) - Walking down to Times Square while raining cats and dogs in a Saturday late night (May 2004).

New York - Flatiron Building, fifth avenue between 22nd and 23rd streets, viewed (maximum zoom) from the top of Empire State Building. This is a truly beautiful building. Be sure to get close enough to the building to appreciate its glory and intricate exterior. To see more, click here.

New York - A local reading a newspaper in the lower level of Grand Central Station.
New York - Naked Cowboy in Times Square playing for tourists.
New York - Theaters in Times Square and 42nd street. (May 2004)
New York - One more photo from this magnificent city from my short stay in May 2004.
